Jay has been nothing short of a true pleasure to work with. He immediately could see potential in the songs presented to him. His drumming technique in combination with production, mixing and mastering has leveled up every song. Not only is his skillset astonishing to me, he is a kind, patient, and truly, he encourages me to bring the best I got to the song. His production skills have me singing on FM ready music, and I know this is because of the meticulous processing and dedication he puts in to each song, making it truly the best it can be. I am glad to know him, and will continue to work future projects with him.

I've worked with Jay on several projects now and found his playing to be spot on for the material, ranging from ska to 80's Hard Rock. His timing is as solid as it gets and he brings great feel, with restraint, to the material. His drum comps are very cleanly mixed and his seps are perfectly dry and ready for mixing. His recording setup is excellent - the seps have just the right amount of isolation on kick, snare and toms while the overheads have the perfect bleed to compliment and round out the full drum sound. This is my first time working with Jay but hopefully not the last. I have done a lot of recording the last 30 years and it have always been a hassle with the drums. But not this time! As others have been writing, I emailed my tracks to Jay and got back more than expected. In my 25 years as a guitar player, Jay is by far the most accomplished drummer I have ever worked with. I recently had the pleasure of recording with him via his online drumming studio. I emailed my tracks, he emailed his. His turn around was quick, I had his beats in my email on the exact day he said they would be there. The thing that struck me the most was the quality of the tracks he sent me. They were eq'd and compressed perfectly. From the optimal amount of shimmer on the cymbals to the thumping throb in the kick drum, I didn't have to adjust anything except the volume.
